Jueves dedicado a lo que me gusta

Se que no es el primer jueves del año, pero es el primero en el que tengo acceso a una computadora y a Internet así que aquí me dispongo a escribir el primer “Jueves dedicado a lo que me gusta” del 2011.

Recién el domingo a la noche llegué a Granada y el lunes ya empecé las clases, por lo que no he tenido tiempo de sentarme a escribir las crónicas de mis vacaciones de navidad (prometo que lo voy a hacer) así que pensé que estaría bueno dedicar el post de hoy a las cosas que mas me gustaron de cada uno de los destinos, así que acá vamos:

AUSTRIA

- Ver a Anna después de 4 años, facebook y muchos chats.

- Ver la nieve!

- Ver a Alex, y casi de casualidad.

- Andar en patas en todas las casas.

- Comer Litchis

- Armar un arbolito de navidad de verdad (con velas y todo).

- Escuchar los villancicos.

- La comida! mucha y muy rica! Especialmente destacando las galletitas en forma de “medialuna” de la mama de Anna (tengo la receta!)

PARIS

- En primerísimo lugar la Torre Eiffel! Es hermosa de día, de noche, con niebla, con sol, con lluvia, con viento, CON LO QUE SEA!

- Sacre Coeur

- El Quartier Latin, con sus callecitas, la Sorbonne y hasta “Shakespeare & Company”.

- El vino tinto

- Las baguettes y las croisants.

- Poder andar por los metros como si toda mi vida los hubiera tomado.

- GAP (aunque no me compre ningún buzo)

- Las postales (compre miles!)

- Los dominios de Maria Antonieta en Versailles.

- La escultura de Pigalle

DISNEY

- Volver a ser niña por un rato

- Las princesas

- Las montañas rusas! Especialmente la dedicada a Aerosmith.

- Los shops llenos de cosas que te incitan a comprar.

- El castillo iluminado de noche.

- “Que pequeño el mundo es”.

AMSTERDAM

- La locura de los turistas.

- La amabilidad de la gente del lugar.

- H&M

- ZARA

- LIQUIDACIONES!!!

- Los canalcitos

- Las casitas torcidas.

- La bajada de tensión de Manu

- Los tulipanes

- El helado “choco-cookie” de Burguer King

Bueno, esos son los destacados del viaje, pero nada hubiera sido tan lindo sin la presencia de todas las personas con las que compartí, como Anna por abrirme su casa y su familia e invitarme a pasar navidad con ella, como pasar año nuevo con la Vick, como Libby que nos permitió invadir su casa, al Marce que se nos unió en París, y a la Lu y al Manu que me han hecho reír a más no poder y con quienes compartí vivencias que nunca voy a olvidar.

Quiero decir que volver a Granada también tuvo sus cosas lindas, después de tantos días de andar dando vueltas uno empieza a extrañar sus cosas, la cama, la almohada, la comp., Internet 24hs, EL BAÑO!!! Y sobre todo, creo que lo que mas extrañaba era el Sol, y por suerte Graná decidió regalarnos unos rayitos y dejar la lluvia para otro momento.

Espero que su comienzo de año haya sido fantástico, que hayan podido hacer un profundo análisis de lo que fue el 2010 y se hayan planteado buenos objetivos para el 2011. Nos vemos en unos pocos meses! Besos a todos!

Things I Love Thursday

I know it is not the first Thursday of the year, but it is the first in which I have access to a computer and internet so here I am about to write the first "Things I Love Thursday" of 2011.

Only on Sunday night I arrived in Granada and on Monday I went back to university again, so I haven’t had time to sit down and write the chronicles of my Christmas break (I promise that I will) so I thought it would be good idea to dedicate today's post to the things I liked about each of the places I’ve been, so here we go:

AUSTRIA
- Seing Anna after 4 years, facebook and many chats.
- The snow!
- Seing Alex, and almost by accident.
- Walk barefoot in every home.
- Having Litchis
- Decorating a real Christmas tree (with candles and all).
- Listening to Christmas carols.
- The food! lots and very good! Especially highlighting Anna's mother’s “half-moon” cookies (I have the recipe!)

PARIS
- First and foremost the Eiffel Tower! It is beautiful by day, night, fog, sun, rain, wind, WITH ANYTHING!
- Sacre Coeur
- The Latin Quarter with its narrow streets, the Sorbonne and even "Shakespeare & Company."
- Red wine
- The baguettes and croissants.
- Being able to take subways as I’ve been doing it my whole life.
- GAP (although I did not buy any jersey)
- Postcards (bought thousands!)
- Domains of Marie Antoinette at Versailles.
- The Pigalle sculpture

DISNEY
- Going back to being a litte girl for a while
- The Princesses
- The roller coasters! Especially the one dedicated to Aerosmith.
- The shops full of things that encourage you to buy.
- The castle illuminated at night.
- “What a small world"

AMSTERDAM
- Madness of tourists.
- The friendliness of the locals.
-H & M
-ZARA
-SALES!
- The canals
- he crooked houses.
- Manu fainting
-Tulips
- The " choco-cookie " ice-cream at Burger King

Well, those are the highlights of the trip, but nothing would had been so nice without the presence of all the people with whom I shared, as Anna for opening your home and family and inviting me to spend Christmas with her, spending New Year with Vick, as Libby allowing us to invade your home, Marce joining us in Paris, and Manu Lu who made me laugh as no one could and with whom I shared experiences that I will never forget.
Coming back to Granada also had some nice things, after so many days of traveling you start missing you own things, bed, pillow, computer, Internet access 24h, THE BATHROOM! Above all, I think what most I missed was the Sun, and luckily, Graná decided to give us some sunshine and let the rain rest for a while.
